About Us
The Blossomwood Valley Civic Association (BVCA) is a membership-based neighborhood organization. We offer a framework for the preservation and enhancement of the Valley’s quality of life.
History
The Blossomwood Valley Civic Association (BVCA) was established in 1988. At that time, developers were eyeing the western slope of Monte Sano. Fearing massive slope development, the neighborhood gathered to form the BVCA. We raised money, and together with the city, purchased the land and gave it to the Land Trust. Today, we enjoy beautiful views and walking trails thanks in large part to the generosity and hard work of the original members of the BVCA.
